Mr. Caisse is a respected litigator, believing that thorough preparation leads to better resolution, whether at trial or in settlement. While settling most cases, Mr. Caisse has successfully tried many cases, including ones that have gone to the Connecticut Supreme Court. He has been recognized by his peers in Connecticut Magazine as one of the top family lawyers in Connecticut.
Joining the firm in 2004, Mr. Caisse brought 12 years of experience as a name partner in a firm focusing on family law in New London County. Mr. Caisse is a graduate of Fairfield University (1988) and Western New England Law School (1991). He was chair of the Family Law Committee of the New London Bar (1998-2002) and has been a frequent speaker on family law for the Connecticut Bar Association and the National Business Institute. Mr. Caisse is a special master in the Hartford and New London Family Courts and the Statewide Custody Court, and serves as a mediator-arbitrator on the Resolution of Legal Fee Disputes Committee of the Connecticut Bar Association.
